Cancellation Policy & Deposits


Fit & Thin recognises that occasionally you may need to cancel a session.  My cancellation policy is much less onerous than most personal trainers out there.

I aim to be fair to my clients but kindly ask you to recognise I am a business thus must cover my costs where cancellations occur.

You are requested to let me know as far in advance as you can if you wish to cancel a session to prevent unnecessary cancellation charges.


ADVANCE PAY PACKAGES AND BOOKINGS: 

  • Advance booking packages may be secured with a deposit of £30 at time of booking.  Full and final payment is to be made at least 24 hours before the first session commences.
  • Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will be rearranged to the next available convenient slot subject to a £5 administration fee.  This fee will be waived for regular customers (those who have attended at least three 1-2-1 sessions) at the discretion of the owner of Fit and Thin.  Revised session date is subject to availability.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours will incur the full fee for that session.
  • Note :  This policy has been introduced to prevent time-wasters.  I do hope my clients understand.  No exceptions for illness or last minute work commitments.


PAY AS YOU GO (PAYG) BOOKINGS:

PAYG sessions must be paid for at time of booking and at least 24 hours in advance or the slot may be re-sold.


LATE AVAILABILITY BOOKINGS:

Late Availability bookings are to be paid for at the time of booking. Due to the nature of these bookings being last minute, no deposit can be accepted only full payment.   If you do not turn up for your session, and have not paid, you will be removed from future offers and late availability mailing lists.


DEPOSITS:

Desposits may only be made for full packages.  PAYG and Late Availabiliy sessions the full fee is required for your session.  If you are a ’no show’ on the day your deposit will be used to pay for the lost income from your missed session.  


VALID PERIOD FOR ADVANCE PAY PACKAGES:

  • Advance Pay packages must commence within 3 months of the booking date.
  • Sessions remain valid as long as a period of 2 months has not passed between individual sessions (unless prior approval has been obtained).  Once 2 months has passed between any 2 sessions, your package will be deemed to have expired. If you wish to re-book you will be charged a new Advance Pay Package.  This does not apply to 4 Week Weight Loss Bootcamp (see below).
  • 4 Week Weight Loss Bootcamp is ONLY valid for 4 CONTINUOUS WEEKS from the date you attend either your first Personal Trainer or Exercise Class.


LATENESS POLICY:

If you are late for your session I am unable to refund your session fee.  I will of course continue your session till the end of your scheduled time-slot.
